Grievances And Complaints

The Patients & public are assured that if  they have any complaint/grievance against any area of functioning of this Directorate they should lodge it and it will be dealt with due consideration.  They should approach –

For Dispensaries – The Medical Officer I/C of the Dispensary if not solved – The Chief District Medical Officer of the respective district. There are eight CDMOs  in mine districts of Delhi are functioning at present.    

For Mobile Health Scheme (MHS), School Health Scheme (SHS), Delhi Arogya Nidhi (DAN), Central Procurement Agency (CPA), Delhi Tapedik Unmulan Samiti (DOTS) - complaint are dealt by respective In charges. Complaints against In charges of above Schemes be forwarded to this directorate.

For Private Hospitals & Nursing Home –
Medical Superintendent of Nursing Home conducts preliminary enquiry , if allegation substantiated in preliminary enquiry , report sent to Delhi Medical Council  for necessary action.

For Quackery – CDMOs of concerned Districts conduct enquiry & report sent to Registrar of Delhi Medical Council, Delhi Bhartia Chikitsa Parishad & Homoeopathic System of Medicine for Necessary action.

Complaints against Chief District Medical officers (CDMOs), officers under DHS are dealt in Grievances cell of this Directorate, Complaints in services matter are dealt by Chief Medical Officer, Head of office in this Directorate.

Since there are no hospitals under DHS, complaints received against hospitals under Delhi Govt. are forwarded to MS of concerned Hospitals for necessary action
