LATEST ACHIEVEMENTS:

1.      Medical College with 100 undergraduate’s seats is being proposed at Dr BSA Hospital. Construction of Medical College is completed. Manpower required for initial starting of medical college has been sanctioned and filled.  It is proposed to start the first session from year 2016 with intake of 100 students.

2.       Pulmonology OPD started in May 2014.

3.      Online OPD registration of patients was started in this hospital w.e.f Jan 2014.

4.      Independence Day was celebrated in 2014 in hospital with

·         Week long  Blood donation camps from 9th to 15th  August with 6 outdoor and six indoor blood donation camps 420 units of blood was collected in this week

·          Special plantation drive was launched in this hospital which will continue.

5.       Under Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan massive cleanliness drive was launched in the hospital.

6.      One Stop Center started in the hospital on 01.07.2015 for victims of sexual assault.

7.      Upgradation of Urology Department was done with State of art facilities of Lithotripsy machine.

8.      Facility for platelet pheresis for preparation single donor platelet in year 2011 in the blood bank and is supporting blood bank services to nearby Govt. hospital also.

9.      Upgradation of Dialysis Services. Presently 04 machines for dialysis are available and we are doing 140-160 dialysis per month.  

10.  Starting of Neurosurgery Department

Neurosurgery department have been started in the hospital with OT facilities. The Neurosurgery cases are now being managed in the hospital and not required to be referred to higher center.

11.  Issue of Physical Disability Certificates

BSA Hospital has started issuing PDC since March 2010 and total disability certificates issued till May 2015 are 4461.

12.  Training Centre: The hospital is a recognized training center for internship, paramedical as well as nursing students.

13.  Recognized examination center for DNB (Obs & Gynea).

UPCOMING PROJECTS:

Major physical targets proposed to be implemented during the year 2015-16 are

1.      Assist and contribute towards recognition of Dr BSA Hospital /Medical College by MCI

2.      For addressing public grievances the contact numbers of concerned officers of the concerned areas to be displayed area wise for prompt redressal of grievances. Signages to this effect to be displayed at multiple areas in the hospital

3.      Reorganization of casualty for better emergency services and upgradation.

4.      Expansion of Labour room and NICU (Neonatal Intensive care Unit)

5.      Opening of canteen for hospital staff.
